Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/dominopost-advanced-post-editor directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
  3. Go to DominoPost Settings to configure your Table of Contents and run your first Broken Link Scan.
  4. Open any post in the Classic Editor to see the new toolbar buttons!

FAQ

When the date arrives, you’ll see a notification on your Dashboard with two buttons:
Notified – Marks the post as updated and sets the next reminder
Remind me 2 days later – Hides the notification for 2 days

Can I mark some content as evergreen?

Yes! In the Update Reminder meta box, check “Mark as Evergreen” to disable reminders for specific posts that don’t need regular updates.

How do I manually select Related Posts?

  1. Edit any post
  2. Find the Related Posts meta box in the right sidebar
  3. Check the posts you want to feature
  4. Save the post

If you don’t select any, the plugin will automatically show related posts based on tags/categories.

Does this work with Gutenberg?

DominoPost uses the Classic Editor for a streamlined, distraction-free writing experience. The Classic Editor is automatically enabled when you activate DominoPost.

Will this slow down my site?

No! DominoPost is optimized for performance:
