RecipePress Reloaded

ವಿವರಣೆ

RecipePress Reloaded is a powerful and very flexible tool to manage your blog’s recipe collection. It was designed with the editor in mind and created for easy and fast usage.
This plugin adds a new post type for recipes to your website. You can publish your recipes as standalone posts, or include in your normal posts and pages.
Organize your recipes in any way you would like. It includes predefined food categories such as cuisines, courses, seasons and difficulties. As creating new categories is
easy it’s up to you which and how many categories you will are creating. Use index pages embedded on pages to make your recipes accessible by title or taxonomy terms. Or use one of
the widgets to create tag clouds or top ten lists.
Of course, you can use all the other WordPress goodies you know from posts in your recipes as well: photos, videos and comments. We have also included new additions such as user 5-star reviews and recipe process shots.
Despite its simplicity it’s giving editors, administrators, designers and developers all the freedom to adapt the plugin to their needs. Features you don’t
need can be deactivated and are hidden from the UI. You can even create your own recipe templates to complete control the look and feel of your recipes. The default ones
are SEO friendly, with support for Google’s JSON-LD recipe schema information.

I find the bulk input feature incredibly useful, and it's a fantastic bonus to have features like ratings and equipment included in the free version of the recipe plugin. However, one significant drawback is the lack of documentation for the shortcodes. It took me some time to navigate the support forum to understand how to use them effectively. Improving the accessibility of shortcode information would greatly enhance the user experience.

The plugin itself is easy to use and the author actually helps you with your issues.

Special thanks to all the contributors. This plugin is so well integrated into the WordPress platform and the Gutenberg Editor. I really like the simple design. The fact that this plugin is open source makes it to my first choice. A feature, I would like to see in the future are Recipe Roundups. Anyway, I love it 😍

Absolutely works like a charm and the amount of features and freedom you have with this plugin is second to none. I have tried many other plugins but this one is the best so far. This one has literally everything a paid plugin would offer. You can add your own taxonomies and equipment, including affiliate links beside the ingredients and equipment entries. I actually can't believe that this is not a paid plugin. It is easy to use and simple. Great support at the time of writing as the developer responded within a day with the answers to my questions.

I´m still digging into the possibilities this plugin offers, but so far I do believe it is the best candidate for my new recipe project.
